“Oh LORD, bless his substance,
And accept the work of his hands;
Shatter the loins of those who rise up against him,
And those who hate him, so that they will not rise again.”
Deuteronomy 33:11 (NASB)

After praying with me using the audio, I would encourage you to write the Bible verse used in prayer on a card. (Two simple 4″x6″ prayer cards are available as a free download, or feel free to use a blank index card you already have.) Your prayer cards can be used again and again as you continue to talk to God in prayer.

Thank you, Marian, for the helpful encouragement to continue in prayer for our husbands. I appreciate the tool you are providing for us to help us in this calling of prayer,
Recently I have prayed Psalm 141:2-5 for my husband.
“Let his prayer be set forth as incense before You, the lifting up of his hands as the evening sacrifice. Set a guard, O Lord, before his mouth; keep watch at the door of his lips. Incline his heart not to submit or consent to any evil thing, or be occupied in deeds of wickedness with men that work iniquity, and let him not eat of their dainties. Let the righteous man smite and correct him; it is a kindness. Oil so choice let not his head refuse or discourage; for even in their evils or calamities shall his prayer continue.” Psalm 141:2-5 (Amplified)
What a delight to hear from you Carolyn! :-) Psalm 141:2-5 is an excellent passage to pray for our husbands. Thanks so much for sharing. Am glad we can encourage each other in praying for our husbands. Greetings to your precious family!
