Setting spiritual goals for your children will provide you with vision and purpose as you plan for Bible Time and other times of spiritually investing in the lives of your children. These goals can be referred to throughout the years as your children grow.

Setting spiritual goals can seem daunting, but it doesn’t need to be. Keep your goals simple, specific and Bible based.

Take time with your spouse to set spiritual goals for your children.

PRAY: Ask God for wisdom and guidance.

SCRIPTURE: Look at Bible verses that share God’s desires for your children.

TALK: Talk about spiritual goals that come to mind from these Bible verses.

WRITE: Write down the Bible verses and the spiritual goals you identify for your children.

PRAY: Talk to God about these goals. Ask for His help and His work in your children’s lives. Pray for your children using these goals.
