Jeremiah 32:17

‘Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.
Jeremiah 32:17

Let’s praise the Lord in prayer together! God tells us to praise Him and what better way to do this than to praise Him using the truths found in God’s Word!

This practice of using God’s Word to praise God in prayer has helped me to think about who God says He is and has increased my faith as I have come to know Him better! Would you like to join me?

After praying with me using the audio, I would encourage you to write the Bible verse used in prayer on a card. (Two simple 4″x6″ prayer cards are available as a free download, or feel free to use a blank index card you already have.) Your prayer cards can be used again and again as you continue to talk to God in prayer.

What is a Bible verse you like to use as you praise the Lord in prayer? How has using God’s Word to praise the Lord in prayer helped you? Share in the comments below!

Now Thank We All Our God

Are you looking for a hymn to sing with your family this Thanksgiving?

“Now Thank We All Our God” is a beautiful hymn to consider. The words found in the three verses of this hymn are a great reminder of many things we have to be thankful for.

Now Thank We all Our God

Verse 1

Now thank we all our God
With hearts and hands and voices
Who wondrous things has done
In whom His world rejoices
Who from our mother’s arms
Has blessed us on our way
With countless gifts of love
And still is ours today

Verse 2

O may this bounteous God
Through all our life be near us
With ever joyful hearts
And blessed peace to cheer us
And keep us in His grace
And guide us when perplexed
And free us from all ills
In this world and the next

Verse 3

All praise and thanks to God
The Father now be given
The Son and Him who reigns
With them in highest heaven
The one eternal God
Whom earth and heaven adore
For thus it was is now
And shall be evermore
