In the most recent Let’s Pray post, 1 Corinthians 13:4 was our focus verse for prayer. On this video I share a creative way to memorize 1 Corinthians 13:4 with your children. This idea can apply to memorizing other Bible verses as well.

Why the Teddy Bear?

The Teddy Bear in this video is letting you know that the idea shared is great for little children too! If your children are not old enough to quote the Bible memory verses, you can say the verses while they listen. You may also like to make the game board with a 3×3 grid instead of a 4×4 grid.

As a young daughter my parents encouraged me to memorize Scripture verses. I memorized Isaiah 41:10 and it became one of my favorite verses.

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

As an adult I continue to treasure Isaiah 41:10. And I can say with confidence that God has always been faithful to His Word. Praise Him! He is worthy of all our trust.
