Most children like stickers and they can be a great addition to Bible memory verse cards!

Sticker Verses

Suggested ages: 1 and up

Years ago, I began to put stickers on some of our daughters’ Bible memory verse cards. These stickers did not necessarily have anything to do with the meaning of the verse, but they added color and something fun to look at while memorizing and reviewing the verses!

We began to call these memory verses “Sticker Verses” and the name “stuck!” To this day, we refer to those beginning memory verses as ‘sticker verses’ and our daughters can still identify specific memory verses by the accompanying sticker.

Would you like to use “Sticker Verses” with your children?

If so, prepare a memory verse card for each of your children, including cards for any babies in your family!

Babies grow fast and will soon be ready to hold their own card. They can begin to memorize the verse even before they start talking, and by planning ahead you will have memory verse cards ready for them.

Use lined or blank index cards, blank business cards or blank flash cards. Add an identical sticker to each child’s card per verse.

If you are new to memorizing verses with your children and would like a list of suggested verses to help you get started, take a look at the above download.

I hope you and your children will enjoy hours of fun as you memorize God’s Word together!

“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.” Jeremiah 15:16 (KJV)
